Captain Jimmy Midgett
Born in 1990 in Staten Island, New York where he didn't live very long, he moved to the state of Florida to follow his fathers career who was a dredge boat worker. Jimmy grew up around the water while his father dredged out a giant portion of Port Canaveral for the existing cruise ships and submarine basin. Learning to fish just comes natural when you're surrounded by some of the best sportfishing in the world, both freshwater and saltwater! However when he was 18 they did the whole moving around deal. Luckily he wasn't ever far from an inlet or beach. Jimmy really cut his teeth in the fishing game Georgia and the Outer Banks of the Carolinas where they have some of the best land fishing in the world for flounder, stripers, and big redfish.
Fast forward to present day, he made the move back to the Port Canaveral area where he worked odds and ends jobs to get by as he watched the charter boats leave daily. Jimmy had the it factor that the Fired Up crew needed so we gave him a shot. The kid can flat out fish. When he's not charter fishing he's fun fishing or shrimping and even crabbing. He brings a work ethic on the boat like no other to make your day as good as it can be as well as a fun personality to make the slow days fun. Jump aboard with Capt. Jimmy and get ready for an adventure!
